BENEFITS

Lime balm, a member of the mint family, related to its sister lemon balm! Lime Balm is considered a calming herb. It was used as far back as the Middle Ages to reduce stress and anxiety, promote sleep, improve appetite, and ease pain and discomfort from indigestion (including gas and bloating, as well as colic).

GROWING CONDITIONS

Season: Late Autumn to Late Summer / Perennial

Soil: Rich and Well Draining

Watering: Water Regularly

Position: Full Sun Through Winter, Part shade from Spring onwards.

Fertilizing: Compost, Manure, Liquid feed

Use: Leaves and flowers used fresh or dried. Good for teas, salads, balms, and tinctures. Relaxing herb & used commonly for digestive upset.

Growing tips: Requires space to spread, feed regularly, Will die back end of summer and shoot from roots late autumn

Companion Plants: Tulsi, Hyssop, Other Mint Varieties,
