About Us
Made For The Earth started in 2018 as a small backyard nursery founded by Talishia, inspired by a love of plants, wellness, and sustainable living. It has since grown into a space dedicated to growing and sharing medicinal plants that help people reconnect with nature.
Based in Maida Vale, in the foothills of Perth, Western Australia, the 2-acre nursery grows over 100 varieties of medicinal herbs, fruit trees, and nut trees using organic and regenerative methods.
With training in herbal medicine and a background in holistic and creative practices, Talishia focuses on making traditional plant knowledge simple and accessible. Alongside David, a qualified horticulturist, she has built a nursery grounded in healthy soil, biodiversity, and sustainable growing.
The seeds offered are open-pollinated heirloom varieties grown and packed locally in Perth. No GMO or hybrid seeds are sold, with a commitment to preserving traditional varieties that support biodiversity.
At its core, Made For The Earth exists to inspire people to slow down, grow their own healing plants, and reconnect with nature in everyday life.
