Wholesale FAQ
What is Seed Reduced Price Shipping?
This is a lower cost, untracked shipping option available for seeds only. It is sent at the buyer’s risk and does not include tracking. Once lodged with Australia Post, we are not responsible for loss, delay, or damage.
Do you offer tracked shipping?
Yes. Tracked shipping is available at checkout and we recommend this option for peace of mind, especially for larger or time sensitive orders.
How long does shipping take?
Standard delivery usually takes up to 10 business days depending on location.
When will my order be posted?
Orders are usually processed within 1 to 5 business days. Our main posting day is Friday.
Do you ship live plants?
No, we do not ship live plants. Plants are available for local pick-up only from our nursery in Maida Vale, WA. Pick-up options can be selected at checkout.
Do you ship seeds interstate?
Yes, we ship seeds across most of Australia. However, we recommend checking with your local Department of Agriculture regarding any restrictions, as some seeds may be classified as weeds in certain states or territories.
Please note we currently do not recommend shipping seeds to Tasmania due to strict biosecurity restrictions. Orders placed to restricted areas are sent at the buyer’s risk.
How long does delivery take overall?
Delivery time depends on your location and shipping method. Orders are usually posted on Fridays, with most deliveries arriving within 3 to 7 business days. During busy periods or after markets, processing may take up to 14 business days as we hand-pack everything in small batches.
Can I pre order or reserve plants?
At this stage we don’t offer pre orders, as availability changes quickly in a living nursery system. However, you can take advantage of our wish list under each product page so you know straight away when a plant, product or seed becomes available again. We recommend purchasing when stock is available, as many herbs sell out quickly due to seasonal growing cycles.
Are your herbs all WA grown?
We aim to grow all herbs locally here in Western Australia using organic and permaculture methods. However, due to seasonal changes and availability, we may occasionally source from trusted organic growers to maintain supply and quality.
Are your seeds organically grown in WA?
A large portion of our seeds are grown in our WA nursery using organic methods. For some more specialised varieties, we work with trusted growers who follow the same organic principles. All seeds are carefully harvested, cleaned, and selected for quality and viability.
Do you guarantee germination?
We test all seed varieties for quality and germination potential under the right conditions. However, we cannot guarantee germination, as results depend on growing conditions such as soil, climate, watering, and experience level.
We always recommend researching each variety before planting to achieve the best results.
Why are some herbs like Mullein & Comfrey sometimes out of stock?
All our herbs are grown in small seasonal batches on our Perth herb farm. We are a small farm with only a few hands working, so we don’t mass produce. Stock depends on natural growing cycles, weather, and harvest timing. Some plants also take time to establish before we can propagate more, especially medicinal perennials like Mullein and Comfrey. These herbs are also in high demand due to their popularity in herbal remedies, permaculture gardens and natural wellness practices.
Do you restock herbs regularly?
Yes, we restock as plants mature and are ready for harvest or propagation. However, timing can vary depending on the season, rainfall, and plant health. We recommend checking back regularly or following our updates for restock announcements.
Why do you grow in small batches?
We focus on soil health, biodiversity, and quality over quantity. Being a small farm with limited hands means we grow intentionally and sustainably. This results in stronger medicinal properties, healthier plants, and more resilient gardens, but also means limited availability.
Do you sell Goldenseal?
We often get asked if we sell Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis). At this stage we don’t grow or stock it, as it is a woodland medicinal plant that prefers cool, shaded forest conditions with cold winters and high humidity. Our Perth, Western Australia climate is too hot and dry for Goldenseal to thrive long term without controlled forest conditions.
Instead, we focus on medicinal herbs that are well suited to our local climate and growing conditions, so they can be grown successfully in home gardens and permaculture systems across WA.
Do you offer wholesale?
At this stage we don’t offer formal wholesale. As a small Perth based herb farm and nursery, we grow in limited seasonal batches and focus mainly on retail customers and small scale gardeners. This means most of our stock is allocated to direct sales through our nursery and seed store.
From time to time, we may be able to support small collaborative or bulk orders depending on availability, but this is considered case by case rather than standard wholesale.
