Clary Sage is a medicinal herb traditionally used for balancing hormones, especially in women, where it helps alleviate symptoms of PMS and menopause, such as cramps and hot flashes. Its essential oil is also known for its calming and stress-relieving effects, making it beneficial for reducing anxiety and improving sleep. Additionally, clary sage can support eye health, aid digestion, and act as an anti-inflammatory.
Growing Conditions:
Season: Spring to Autumn / Biennial or Short-Lived Perennial
Soil: Well-draining, moderately fertile
Watering: Keep moist in warmer months, but can tolerate drought once established
Position: Prefers Full Sun but tolerates Part Shade
Fertilising: Light feeding with compost or well-rotted manure, occasional liquid feed
