Marshmallow leaf and root are commonly used to reduce inflammation of the respiratory tract's mucous membranes, which can cause pain and swelling. They are also beneficial for treating conditions like dry cough, stomach lining inflammation, constipation, diarrhea, urinary tract inflammation, and urinary tract stones.

How To Prepare: To brew marshmallow tea, bring water to a boil and then let it cool for a minute or two. Place 1-2 teaspoons of dried marshmallow leaf in a tea infuser and add it to a cup. Pour hot water over the tea infuser and let it steep for 5-10 minutes. Remove the infuser and enjoy your warm and soothing cup of marshmallow tea. If desired, you can add honey or lemon for flavor.
